Shane Wall, known as Hoover Wall to his childhood classmates, was born and raised in Orangeburg, SC and has been singing and writing Christian and Gospel music as an expression to God for about 20 years. He never intended to pursue the professional role as a solo artist until he felt the Lord leading him to do so. Shane grew up singing in a church who produced two, internationally distributed projects (Bishop Ronald E. Brown - Live! Having Good Old Fashioned Church & The Faith Tabernacle Mass Choir - Not Just Another Song.
His instruments of choice are the violin and drum set. He has written, recorded and/or sold advertising jingles to local and international companies. His vocal and writing style has been greatly influenced by the Gospel groups, Commissioned and The Winans. Shane's style of presentation in concerts penetrates even the hardest of hearts. This could very well be contributed to his over 25 years of preaching the Word of God internationally with thousands of souls coming to Christ.
He is also known internationally as the author of the book, "What Are You Doing After the Dance?" As the founder and senior pastor of The Feast of the Lord in Orangeburg, SC for nearly five years, he has developed a greater compassion for people and their relationship with the Lord. He is also featured weekly on his church’s radio broadcast, What is God Saying About You? on WQKI, 102.9FM in Orangeburg, SC each Sunday at 10:00AM.
He was appointed President of the Orangeburg-Calhoun Association of Clergy for 2009. He is a Volunteer Associate Chaplain for The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, SC. He is on the Planning Committee of the Religious Life Department for Claflin University and South Carolina State University and is the Youth President of the International Fellowship Council of Churches, affecting more than thirty (30) cities world-wide.
About 90% of the songs Shane Wall writes are in conversational format as one who speaks to God and one who hears God's response, hence, his December, 2008 release of Conversations with God. Because of this project’s thematic nature, with its smooth, yet soulful sound, Christian and Gospel audiences alike will gravitate to this music ministry of prayer.
A trailblazing project, Conversations with God includes an interactive prayer component for the general public, recorded Shane’s home, during one of his private prayer times. Shane Wall knows that his mission is to help people obtain a very strong and close relationship with God, our Father.
