When we encounter an unfavorable situation, we label it as a problem. But there is a beautiful aspect to problem that many of us miss. What are students in an elementary school’s math class taught to do with problems? They are taught to solve them. Therefore, problems are created to be solved.
Some problems are even created by God, but all problems are permitted by God. Most often, God allows problems to exist so that He can get the glory by using someone to assist us during our problematic occurrences.
So it was for the queen of Sheba in the Bible, when she presented difficult situations to the wisest man in the earth, Solomon.
When the queen of Sheba heard of [the constant connection of] the fame of Solomon with the name of the Lord, she came to prove him with hard questions (problems and riddles). She came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels bearing spices, very much gold, and precious stones. When she had come to Solomon, she communed with him about all that was in her mind.
Solomon answered all her questions; there was nothing hidden from the king which he failed to explain to her.
When the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon’s wisdom and skill, the house he had built, The food of his table, the seating of his officials, the standing at attention of his servants, their apparel, his cupbearers, his ascent by which he went up to the house of the Lord [or the burnt offerings he sacrificed], she was breathless and overcome.
She said to the king, It was a true report I heard in my own land of your acts and sayings and wisdom. I did not believe it until I came and my eyes had seen. Behold, the half was not told me. You have added wisdom and goodness exceeding the fame I heard. Happy are your men! Happy are these your servants who stand continually before you, hearing your wisdom! 1 Kings 10:1-7 AMP
God’s ultimate allowance of problems is for one or both of two reasons: to increase us or to promote us. Often God permits problems in our lives to refocus our attention on an area where we have allowed ourselves to become distracted. so that we can get the solution from Him. Then He can promote you.
So, what is your problem, and why do you have a problem?
Each of us has gone through rough situations in life, but God has always given us victory. Why then do we worry, knowing that God’s past predicts His future? He has helped and will help, always.
If you can solve a problem, you’ll gain a level of wealth, guaranteed.
People are paid according to the level of problems they can solve.
One of the new responses out now to problems that are presented to those who are not responsible for solving them is, “That’s above my pay grade.”
If you don’t like what you’re being paid in the natural or what compensation you’re receiving in life period, solve a greater problem than you’re currently solving.
You’re alive, but what problem is your life solving for others?
